YOUTH=SEA SAFETY COURSE TEACH GUIDES AND SCOUTS

On September the 9th & 10th - 23 Newton Stewart Guides and Minigaff Scouts visited the boathouse to take part and complete the Youth Equals Sea Safety (Y.E.S.S.) course. Following on from a successful initial trial year, the group requested to visit us. From the classroom to the sea all children had lots of fun whilst learning at the same time. Crew must be commended for giving up their own time to help prepare and run successful courses. ( In total 71 children have completed this course). The course lasts 2 hours and a maximum of 12 children aged 9-12 years can take part together on any one date.
